Please read these terms carefully before using the NORAO device, application, or any associated services.
By purchasing, activating, or using any NORAO product, mobile application, website, or related service (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you must not access or use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and NORAO SAS ("NORAO", "we", "us", "our").
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after notification of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We will communicate material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by in-app notification.
NORAO provides a wearable electrocardiogram (ECG) belt device and companion mobile application designed to acquire, transmit, display, and store cardiac electrical signals for personal wellness monitoring purposes. The Service includes hardware (the NORAO belt), firmware embedded in the device, the NORAO mobile application, and any associated cloud features, analytical outputs, or customer support.
NORAO is a consumer wellness product and is NOT a certified medical device. It is not approved, cleared, or authorised by any health authority (including but not limited to the European Medicines Agency, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, or CE Medical Device Regulation) for clinical diagnostic, therapeutic, or treatment purposes.

If you experience chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness, palpitations, or any symptom of a possible cardiac event, call emergency services immediately. Do not rely on NORAO for emergency situations.
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use the Service independently. Users between 13 and 17 years of age may use the Service only under the direct supervision of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on their behalf. The Service is not directed to children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
The Service is not intended for individuals with implanted cardiac devices (such as pacemakers or defibrillators) without prior written clearance from their treating cardiologist.
To access certain features you may need to register an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account credentials secure. You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at security@norao.fr.
You may use the Service solely for personal, non-commercial wellness monitoring purposes in accordance with these Terms and all applicable laws. You must not:
All intellectual property rights in the Service — including but not limited to software, algorithms, trademarks, design elements, text, and graphics — are owned by or licensed to NORAO. Nothing in these Terms grants you any intellectual property rights except the limited licence to use the Service as expressly set out herein. The NORAO name, logo, and the phrase "Your Bioresonance Assistant" are trademarks of NORAO SAS.
Do not use the NORAO belt while driving, operating machinery, swimming, or during any activity where loss of attention could cause injury. Discontinue use and consult a physician if you experience skin irritation, discomfort, or any adverse reaction to wearing the device. Follow all care and usage instructions included in the product documentation.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, NORAO, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AND SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE PRODUCT OR SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NORAO and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or any applicable law.
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (e.g. operating-system health platforms). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party service. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with reasonable notice where practicable. You may stop using the Service at any time. Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that accrued prior to termination. Sections 3, 7, 9, 10, 11, and 15 shall survive termination.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Paris, France, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any right under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and NORAO regarding the Service.
